Donna Hart loves her 50- by 14-foot Condo Series Destination houseboat. It was finished in September 2017 and she could not be more pleased with how everything turned out.
Donna is no stranger to living on the water. She and her identical twin sister Marie Hart have been on the water for about 17 years and her sister’s husband even rebuilds damaged houseboats, transforming them into beautiful mini-homes.
When Donna first decided she wanted a luxury houseboat, she did some research and found Destination Yachts online. Graber worked closely with her and together with the Destination team, they helped Donna make her dream a reality.
“It’s kind of a dream come true,” shared Donna. “It’s a little bit of a luxury to have something like this.”
She loved working with Destination Yachts, and they even threw in some upgrades to accommodate her when they were a little late delivering the boat, which was greatly appreciated. Donna had no complaints.
She explained that her friends and family love her houseboat so much that when they come to visit, they don’t want to leave. She’s got the perfect setup with hot tub, a TV upstairs, a wet bar and all the perks you can think of.
Donna keeps the boat at Moonbeam Gateway Marina in Brooklyn, N.Y., where she’s frequently visited by friends and family who can’t get enough of her gorgeous Destination houseboat.
Destination Yachts
Destination Yachts has a long-standing reputation for getting houseboaters out making memories without breaking the bank. Every build takes classic Amish craftsmanship and unites it with artfully innovative elements such as fresh wall features and custom fixtures onboard.
In fact, this sense of innovation has distinguished the Indiana-based company ever since owner Sheldon Graber and his brother Terry originally sold their Myacht company to Tracker Marine. It was after this that Sheldon jumped into building twin hull houseboats designed to strike a harmonious pose between luxury and economic quality, filling a hole that was previously plaguing the industry. Ever since, the expanding Destination Yachts team has worked to create unique customized houseboats ranging from 35 to 100 feet long that are both elegant and affordable, with features that please each customer individually.
Ever since the facility upgrade in 2014, Destination Yachts has been able to develop price point houseboats starting at $95,000 while also exploring its luxury Elite series even further, effectively bringing even more options to houseboaters across the nation.

For the coming year, Destination Yachts is introducing a new look on their proven hull. It’s still one of the only hulls in the industry to have a 5-year warranty, and now it has a sleeker look to the front. You can be sure it will track even better through the water than before.
