This beauty used to be one of the highest flying jets back in the 1930s. It was owned by none other than the famous record-setting pilot, Howard Hughes. As you can see, it hasn’t been flying in a while.
From aircraft to watercraft, this vessel has had a complete makeover, and now can be classified as one of the more unique houseboats out there. They sliced the wings and tail away and added electrical, plumbing and air conditioning. Now it sports restored airline chairs and a classic leather-top bar. The interior design was by Raymond Loewy and Rita Hayworth.
