New Patented Raritan Macerator Pump Might Just Save Your Life

May 2017 Product

Have you had the displeasure of disconnecting your marine sanitation macerator pump for maintenance or repair? If you have, you know exactly how noxious and dangerous the mess can be. Thankfully, Raritan Engineering has a simpler, fresher option that will save you from having to undergo an experience like that again.

The patented 53101 Macerator Pump with Waste Valve is built on the foundation of Raritan’s quality macerator pump. Features include a special nitrile rubber impeller that runs dry three times longer than competition, a spring-loaded Viton motor shaft seal that reduces leakage, and stainless steel fasteners and a heavy duty chopper to ensure a long service life. You can get this adaptable model in 12 or 24V DC options that will discharge left, right or from the top.

Because the Waste Valve isolates the impeller housing from the holding tank discharge port, you simply have to turn the waste valve lever to the closed position and separate the quick disconnect assembly to service the pump.

"Our customers appreciate the reliability our products provide, but few understand what it takes to get to that point," said Vinod Mehta, Raritan VP of manufacturing and engineering. "This patent validates the pioneering work we're continually doing to advance marine sanitation."

The 5310112 Macerator Pump with Waste Valve for 12V has a list price of $290. For more information, feel free to give 856-825-4900 a call or visit Raritan’s website here.
