Montague Bikes has launched a new bicycle designed from the ground up to deliver top-rated performance and functionality to boating enthusiasts. The full-size Allston features a rust-proof carbon belt drive instead of a standard metal chain that allows grease-free handling and has the added benefit for boaters who travel in conditions where corrosion of exposed metal parts is an issue. The bike also features a sealed Shimano 11-speed internal gear hub that delivers a wide gear range with no exposed parts. It is corrosion-resistant, requires no lubrication and is virtually maintenance-free.

When folded, the bike compacts to just 36 inches wide, 28 inches high and 12 inches deep, perfect for tight spaces like onboard your houseboat. It also weighs only 30 pounds, making it very light and portable. The 2016 lineup includes six road and five mountain bikes ranging in price from $639.95 to $2,449.
