As the old adage goes, the early bird gets the worm—or the best spots to build a houseboat flotilla.

WKRC news shares that Cincinnati’s end-of-summer tradition of throwing a big fireworks show is already much anticipated this year, with houseboaters already mooring up for the big event days in advance.

The fireworks are set to kick off this Sunday night with plenty of food, music, and entertainment to keep everyone busy until show time. If you don't want to elbow your way to a good mooring spot, you can even join a riverboat tour during the fireworks with BB Riverboats. If you’re in the area, it’s sure to be a big party this year! If not, you can always shoot for joining in the tradition next year.
