Twin Anchors Marine has been owned and operated by the same family since 1977, the longest continuous ownership in the industry.
Prior to the turndown in the houseboat market, Twin Anchors added accommodation units to its product mix. The demand for these deluxe camps by the oil and gas exploration and mining industries has allowed Twin Anchors to retain its 110-employee workforce and produce over 100 units in 2013. The houseboat business looks promising for 2015, and this Canadian builder will be starting its first build since 2011 in December for a 2015 June delivery.
All Twin Anchors boats feature an exclusive unitized cabin and bridge. Its engineered bridgedeck truss system and no bearing interior wall, allow for cathedral ceilings and complete freedom with floorplan design.

This unitized construction is also found in the standard equipment hot tub surround and built-in bridge deck seating, all molded-in rather than added on.
During the 2014 year, the company had stayed busy building relocatable workforce accommodations for a wide range of resource industries. But they are excited to announce that Happy Days Houseboats has ordered a houseboat for June 2015 delivery. This is a wonderful sign for things to come.
