Sick Day Resort

September 2012 How We Got our Name Jeffrey Bastin

My wife and I pulled into the marina parking lot on a motorcycle one day to only find a couple selling their houseboat so they could buy motorcycles. Long story short, we traded a motorcycle for a houseboat and don't regret it.  We then stayed up nights discussing what to name the boat.  All the names we were coming up with ended up being really long names, and we were getting very tired so we decided to name her "Bob" (a guy with no arms & no legs, floating in the water).  We were even going to have the decal guy put a bobber for the "O".  Well, the next day I found out that I needed foot surgery so that's how it ended up being the "Sick Day Resort".
