Houseboats On PowellAmerica's second largest man-made lake and popular houseboat destination, Lake Powell, will be more comfortable to explore this year with the updated interiors of two of the lake's best known houseboat models. Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas' 53-foot Adventurer and 75-foot Odyssey rental vessels will have remodeled interiors for the 2012 vacation season.

Making up nearly a quarter of Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas' fleet, the 53-foot Adventurer is a favorite among guests for its value, offering low prices with the popular combination of two staterooms, two lower berths and two bathrooms. The houseboat, capable of sleeping up to 12, now features new paneling, flooring, counter tops, stoves and resurfaced kitchen cabinets.

The flagship Odyssey, capable of sleeping up to 22 people, commands attention on the lake with its two stories and approximate 2,760 square feet of space. The boat is the ultimate way to see the Lake and the benchmark in luxury houseboating with four staterooms, two lower berths and three bathrooms. Guests will be welcomed with new upholstery, refinished kitchen cabinets, new carpet and a 42-inch flat screen TV in the salon, and new 22-inch flat screens in the lower staterooms-increasing the lavishness of the boat.

As the largest concessioner on the lake, Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas offers 169 houseboats out of two marinas: Wahweap Marina near Page, Ariz., and Bullfrog Marina in Bullfrog, Utah. Ranging in size from 46 to 75 feet, the marinas offer the widest range of boat types and price points on the lake.
