ALM BEACH, FL (August 23, 2011) - Everybody wishes they could live the lifestyle of the rich and famous and now, thanks to the 24thAnnual ShowBoats International Yachting Rendezvous, they can! The famed Thursday "Dine Around the Docks" Yacht Hop will be open to the public, so now everybody has a chance to be a guest on some of the finest yachts in the world - whether they own a luxury yacht or not. This year brings an extraordinary line up of entertainment, with The Doobie Brothersheadlining the Saturday Night Gala at the Mar-a-Lago Club. Also returning to this year's festivities are honorary chairs Mr. and Mrs. Donald J. Trump, while new to this year's line-up of activities will be the Milhous Museum Last Chance Tour. The 24thAnnual ShowBoats International Yachting Rendezvous will be hosted November 10-12, 2011at the Rybovich Yacht Club in West Palm Beach, FL.

The Rendezvous is all to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County and this year's experience will again be held at the newly expanded and completely remodeled Rybovich Yacht Club located at 4200 North Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach, FL. The Yacht Hop kicks off the weekend, taking place onNovember 10, 2011 amidst a series of exciting events.
Guests who attend the Thursday, November 10thfestivities can expect an array of activities and events. Beginning at noon, guests can convene at the Luxe Pavilion & Silent Auction to preview a showcase of luxury products and services from a myriad of companies and start bidding on their favorite items. Thereafter, the party starts at 6pm when the "Dine Around the Docks" Yacht Hop begins. This is where the lifestyle of the rich and famous is really emulated.
Guests, dressed in nautical chic attire, will be treated to the `good life' as yacht owners and captains do their best to out-do one another and truly impress their newly boarded guests. But the nautical experience doesn't stop there. Guests can witness a traditional yacht christening of the 187' Lady Linda; a tremendous firework display; and enjoy special entertainment, delectable food and gourmet desserts throughout the night.
Friday, November 11thwill feature a Ferrari/Mercedes Luncheon Ride & Drive beginning at 11am courtesy of Ferrari of Palm Beach and Mercedes Benz of Palm Beach, followed by the Milhous Museum Last Chance Tour at 1pm. This rare opportunity will provide guests the chance to tour one of the world's most incredible collections of mechanical musical instruments, antiques and classic automobiles before RM Auctions and Sotheby's auctions off the entire collection in Boca Raton on February 23, 24 and 25, 2012 during the Boca Raton Concours d' Elegance.
The day of fast cars and nostalgia will be followed by the Palm Beach Celebration presented by Lurssen Yachts, a casual evening honoring Palm Beach's centennial, featuring elegant dinner stations, cocktails, and a celebration of the past 100 years of music by the Veronica Martell Orchestra at The Henry Morrison Flagler Museum from 7pm-11pm. The night concludes with late night entertainment at Rybovich Yacht Club featuring music and cocktails from 11pm-1am.
The 24thAnnual ShowBoats International Yachting Rendezvousconcludes on Saturday, November 12thwith a poolside Clam Bake from 11:30am-2:30pm at Rybovich Yacht Club followed by the black-tie gala at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach from 7:30pm-11:30pm where honorary chairs Mr. and Mrs. Donald J. Trump will welcome guests to their beautiful estate. After dinner, guests will enjoy a live performance by The Doobie Brothers. The gala will also feature a special presentation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County's Fleet Admiral Members (those who have been Admiral members for five years or more), who will be honored on stage and given custom made, one-of-a-kind timepieces courtesy of Ulysse Nardin featuring the Admirals Club logo on the face and back of the watch, and the ShowBoats Rendezvous logo etched in the gold of the band. The night continues with a poolside After Glow Party at Mar-a-Lago Club from 11:30pm-1:00am with late night entertainment, cordials, no-cost gambling and dancing under the stars.
