Well-known interior designer Sylvia Bolton has created spectacular spaces for some of the most luxurious yachts on the water.  She said she likes Imagicor because it's original and innovative.  Bolton likes it, too, because it's suitable to make unique accents in high-style yachts.

Bolton is working with Imagicor to create a deep cobalt metallic blue, burl veneer for the console of one of her latest projects, the interior of a yacht currently under construction.  The blue panels will be used on the console dash, creating a look similar to that in luxury vehicles.  Accent stripes in the same material will appear in various areas throughout the vessel. "My clients would like the interior of their yacht to be very contemporary, and Imagicor gives us the opportunity to get the color and finish we want for this critical space," she said.  Bolton has already chosen a pearl white veneer for some of the cabinetry on the vessel.

Caring for Imagicor veneers is much easier than maintaining wood and leather, too.  Scratches and scuff marks can be buffed out by using common polishes found in marine and automotive stores, and wiping with a damp cloth takes care of most messes.  Imagicor stands up to the marine environment, too, because neither water nor sunlight will warp, fade or discolor the veneers.  The easy-care feature was another attraction for Bolton, "I really like that the material is easily repaired with simple buffing instead of expensive and time-consuming refinishing."
