We are so excited to announce the dates for the 2015 On-Water Expo have been confirmed with State Dock. The show will be June 5-7, 2015 on Lake Cumberland near Jamestown, Ky.
The On-Water Expo is the ONLY show dedicated to houseboats. If you are in the market for a houseboat or want to escape for a couple of days, then you need to join us at State Dock June 5-7th. We will have new houseboats to tour, used houseboats to see and a wide variety of different runabouts to demo. It's a great time to hang out with friends and see what the industry is up to. The show is Friday through Sunday and offers a good number of aftermarket products to see as well as houseboats.
If you’ve never been and are curious, I’ll break it down for you. Friday morning, houseboat manufacturers and brokers bring over their boats and line them up down one entire dock at State Dock Marina. Aftermarket exhibitors, everyone from financing to insuring to products, set up 10X10 displays on the dock as well. At 1 p.m., the show opens for the public to tour the boats, ask questions and even make it a deal on buying houseboat if that’s what you came to do. Above that, it’s a just a fun time to see what’s new in the houseboat world. Friday night, State Dock provides live entertainment so you can come enjoy the night with the rest of the attendees.
Saturday and Sunday, you can continue to tour the houseboats and runabouts as well as be entertained
AGAIN on Saturday evening with more live performances. The show runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. You can stay on a houseboat rental on Boatel Row, so you never even have to leave. Russell county is a dry county, so plan accordingly when you stop for supplies.
